Cotton Candy Color at Terrain

Photos by Kay English

If you’ve seen a wedding at terrain, you know that their lush gardens, quirky backdrops and twinkly lights are their signatures. While we know and love them, we wanted to bring a new look to Anthropologie’s nursery and garden store where the most beautiful and intimate weddings are hosted.  With a few fresh ideas like a doughnut wall, an infused water bar and major #relationship goals, we’re thinking terrain may have a few new signatures.

Our color scheme of cotton candy colors: blues, purples and pinks were joined by bright yellows and golds for an unexpected jolt of color, both in the desserts and on the table. Giant magenta peonies paired with an overflowing installation of hanging indigo monkshood were matched by the artwork on the doughnuts!

The bride wore an intricately beaded frock from BHLDN paired with a gold dipped veil while her beau played up the hipster vibes with goldenrod slacks and a chambray shirt.  Paired together, this shoot was the epitome of sweet!
