Katie & Aviad at Grace Winery

Fun Fact: About 1/4 of our weddings are planned between us and the Mother of the Bride.  So many moms are taking on the responsibilities of wedding planning but aren't doing it the old-fashioned way. By that I mean, choosing flowers they love, hiring only vendors their friends used and trying to one-up those friends at the same time. They're doing it out of love. And they're making each decision with their daughters in mind. I find it so refreshing to see them thinking only of the brides and not themselves.

Anyway! Katie's mom came to us with many of her vendors in place. She had the beautiful Inn at Grace Winery booked. She had hired a fave, Lauren Fair as her photographer. Great florist? Check. Best cake ever? Definitely. What she didn't have was all of the details in place. She wanted beautiful things that Katie and her fiancee Aviad would appreciate. The couple, who lived in Israel during the entire planing process, were fun-loving. Not traditional, not boring. We tried to help infuse the day with moments that said exactly that.

A pom pom toss as they walked down the aisle? So fun, right? Whimsical watercolor signage is always a winner. A Moscow Mule Bar?!?! YES! Mom Nancy had such great taste and ran wild with so many great details that the day turned out even more beautifully. We helped coordinate their day as well, with associates Michelle and Brianna keeping everything in order! And picking up pom poms off the ground :)
