The Hunting Hill Mansion, now known as Parque, sits nestled inside a Pennsylvania State Park and is really a hidden gem that instantly transports you to a 19th century country estate. It's the perfect backdrop for a modern fairytale wedding. We took inspiration from several old tales and brought them to life among the moss-covered steps, the stone overlook and the reflecting pool.
Our bride wore a beaded corset and ruffled skirt from BHLDN and jeweled blush heels that were every bit as glamorous as a fancy ballgown and glass slippers. Her veil was handpainted with florals and fit perfectly into our garden setting. Her bouquet bursted with roses and ranunculus and our floral designer added pink bleeding hearts as a nod to our fairy tale theme.
There is nothing more romantic than a sweetheart table where a just-married couple can cozy up to each other while still celebrating with their guests. With the palest of pink linens and a hand lettered So This is Love banner, our table set the scene for our princess and her prince. Blush floral plates paired with delicate pink champagne coupes and wine glasses were made playful paired with mini tree stump place card holders and flowing bows. A towering lace trimmed wedding cake sat tall among the stone walls and was topped with an oversized sugar peony. But inside? Layers upon layers of ombre pink cake and buttercream. If that wasn't a dream come true, we don't know what is!
