The middle of winter seems like a great time to show off one of outmost colorful weddings from last summer, right? Full of bright pinks, oranges, corals and fuchsias, Clare and Andres' Old Mill wedding was lively and dare I say, spicy? I do dare. Andres' Latin roots and Clare's love for Kate Spade played major roles in the design aspect of their wedding day. Stationery with clean, modern lines set the tone while pops of color in the florals livened things up. As a nod to Clare's Orange, CA roots, we added a piece of citrus to each place setting which sat atop crisp white linens.
We helped plan and design the wedding while Clare and Andres lived in New York. With no real ties to Philadelphia, they chose the Philly burbs as sort of a central location between their Princeton/NY friends, Clare's California family and Andres's Texas crew. The Old Mill was the perfect spot for their July wedding. We had a beautiful, not too hot, day starting with an outdoor ceremony and ending with a round of salsa dancing and a sparkler send-off to top all sparkler send-offs. It was a beautiful day with two beautiful, warm, welcoming families and we loved seeing them come together as one.
